Religion and belief systems, as an index you can walk.

Every entry below is a category link from Wikipedia's Religion and belief systems contents page: four lists, nothing paraphrased, nothing ranked. Explore the structure, see which categories the index files in more than one place, and build your own reading path. Each link opens the live category on Wikipedia.

Cross-listing map of the Religion and belief systems index Four arcs, one per list. Each dot is a category in that list. A chord joins the same category when it appears in two lists.

        What this is

A navigable front end for one Wikipedia contents page: Wikipedia:Contents/Categories/Religion and belief systems, as captured on 2026-10-15. The page carries category names and links only, so this site carries category names and links only. It adds navigation, a cross-listing map, and a personal shelf. It does not add descriptions, summaries, groupings of its own, adherent counts, or any ordering beyond the alphabet.

        Product brief

        1. What A curated taxonomy explorer: one authoritative index, made walkable.
        2. Who Students, writers, and the curious who want the lay of the land before reading, and want to keep their own path.
        3. Why it holds up It refuses to editorialise. The only content is the index itself, so there is nothing to dispute and nothing to go stale except the links.
        4. Structure Four views over one dataset: Explore (grid), Map (chords), Structure (computed facts), Shelf (yours).
        5. Discovery Proposed Long-tail searches for the category names themselves, plus the map as a shareable image.
        6. Engagement Search, random dive, keyboard navigation, explored marks, notes.
        7. Conversion The outbound click to Wikipedia is the goal event. The shelf export is the secondary goal.
        8. Revenue None. This is a reference property and a pattern demonstration.
        9. Launch Proposed Static hosting, one HTML file, no build.
        10. After launch Proposed Re-capture the source page on a dated cadence and diff the index; surface added or removed entries as a change log.
